The book is called Beyond the Square and you will probably realise from its title that there are other shapes than squares in it: circles, hexagons, triangles, and "other unexpected shapes" in fact.

You might know that I am more than extremely fond of Lucy's blog. She writes all about her life and I am probably over-envious of her skills as a hooker [I am allowed to say that because it's nicely meant]. She somehow makes it look so easy and beautiful. She has tutorials but more due to my hopelessness than her instruction, I'm not exactly at the stage where I can follow them yet. She also appears to fit such a lot into her days that I could also do with a tutorial from her on life-organisation too if such a thing was available.
I have found another blog which I quite enjoy too called Tangled Happy. Today's entry is on branch weaving and I've copied the photo across here:
I may even have a go at this myself, but just now I'm going to practice making a sliding loop from page 10 of my new book. I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks for visiting ...

Hello Greedy Nan, that book looks fabulous, I've paged through it before and ummmmed and aaahhhed at whether I should purchase it or not, so I look forwardto seeing your creations soon
Loving the look of that book. Re Lucy's instructions at Attic 24: they are really helpful, and I have managed to do her hexagons and her flowers, however, the ripple blanket eludes me.... one day.... if I keep on trying....
