Oh Lucky Man ...

... but in this case Oh Lucky Me. I WON a giveaway prize from Noodlebubble. It actually arrived last week and I've been very dilatory in letting you know. Here is a picture of my picture:



I had also taken part in a swap organised by Lisa at Noodlebubble and recently received my gift from Mitzi. It was a bird-related swap and from the varying crafters who participated, Lisa matched you with someone so that you wouldn't necessarily receive back a similar piece to that which you had sent yourself. I made a dangling bird a la Attic 24. In actuality, it was nothing like Lucy's bird [below]:



because mine was nowhere near near as nice as hers. Unfortunately though I can't show you what I did send because I photographed it onto the old camera card and don't know where I've put it because it's in a place so-o-o safe, nobody will ever find it. Also, although I have photographed what Mitzi sent in return, I have had a number of 'problems' [to me they're problems] with the 'puter and since they've been fixed, I no longer know how to download the photos to it because everything's changed - and "we" don't like change ...

This could make my future blogging quite complicated and go back to how it was when I first started , ie NO PHOTOS. I am a little more confident now though so am hoping that I'll be able to work it out and you will see some pictures at least this side of the Christmas season.

The corncrake picture is the same one from Lisa's blog and I copied it across as I also did with the crochet bird from Lucy's. So thanks be to them or there'd be no photos on this post at all.
